Marshall SC20C Studio Classic Combo Amplifier The Marshall SC20C Studio Classic delivers the legendary sound of the JCM800 2203 in a handy studio format. This amplifier is from the Marshall Studio series (manufactured in England) draws up to 20W of power for rehearsals and jams from its power amplifier with dual EL34 components, while the switchable low power mode limits the power of the amplifier to 5W for rich sounds at room volume. A classic single-channel circuit with Master Volume offers the classic response of the original from clear clean to rich overdrive sounds. The compact Marshall SC20C Studio Classic also presents traditional appointments with a black Tolex cover, gold panel and white piping. Switchable Effect Loop & DI Out Designed specifically for use in studio environments, the Marshall SC20C Studio Classic provides additional connectivity for effects and recording devices. The rear-side switchable effects loop allows additional effects devices to be looped between pre-amp and power amp, while the DI Out allows the signal to be passed on for monitoring or recording purposes. 3-Band EQ with Presence Control The Marshall SC20C Studio Classic features an extremely wide-ranging 3-band equalizer whose controls for Bass, Treble and Mid-Range determine the basic character of the sound, from clear ‘scooped’ sounds to well-known mid-warm Marshall leads. In addition, the compact Classic Combo features a Presence control, which influences the Treble response of the power amplifier and provides additional bite if required. 10″ Celestion V-Type Loudspeaker The combo version of the Marshall Studio Classic uses a 10″ Celestion V-Type speaker specially made for the series. This loudspeaker utilises ceramic magnets and combines the advantages of classic vintage loudspeakers with modern construction methods and provides enormous radiance, especially in the area of high-mid and high frequencies. Even played on higher gain settings, the sound of the Celestion V-Type remains bold and clear.
